On the 13th of December, from 10 am to 4.30 pm, the final #AIatEDGE workshop will be held at Safran Passenger Innovations (SPI) and will mark the end of the H2020 AI@EDGE project.
The workshop’s primary objective is to discuss the final results of the integration of the AI@EDGE platform across the project’s four use cases: Autonomous Vehicles, (Industrial) Internet of Things, Drones, and Aviation.
The workshop will place special focus on the Aviation use case, featuring a demonstration of an aero edge-cloud. This infrastructure will showcase various Artificial Intelligent Functions (AIFs) and other Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) applications, with a specific focus on in-flight entertainment (IFE) system. Additionally, it will showcase the realization of a 5G network onboard aircraft, leveraging LEO satellites for backhaul connectivity as the next enabler of onboard broadband connectivity within In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) system.
